About the Farm

Gourmet mushroom cultivation farm. Top products: Black Pearl King Oyster, Chestnut, Lion's Mane. 3rd Kingdom Mushrooms is a specialized gourmet mushroom farm headquartered in Vandling, Pennsylvania, bringing over two decades of professional mycology experience to the regional culinary landscape. Having transitioned from their original operations in the Scranton area, the farm focuses on the cultivation and supply of premium, high-quality fungi for both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. Their production model emphasizes variety and consistency, utilizing seasonal crop rotations to provide fresh, diverse options tailored for both professional chefs and home cooks. By prioritizing the culinary potential of their harvest, the farm aims to elevate mushrooms as a centerpiece ingredient. Their product line includes sophisticated varieties such as the meaty Black Pearl King Oyster, the nutty and texturally robust Chestnut mushroom, and the celebrated Lion's Mane, which is marketed for its tender, seafood-like consistency. The company maintains an active local market presence and offers a dedicated online storefront to ensure reliable access to their fresh, gourmet inventory.

My husband and I got to meet George and Jennifer yesterday, they are as awesome as their mushrooms. We so enjoyed our sautéed pink oyster mushrooms with carmelized onions and garlic mixed into scrambled eggs this morning. Will be back for more and different varieties.
