I purchased worms, and decided to count them by hand to verify the 200 worms per container. There were 217 worms.

Had a landscaper purchase and place 3/8 decorative gravel at my house from Star, as I have done for about the last 6 years to cap off the yard nice for summer. This year the load was full of dirt, it was almost class 2 base. I’m also having an issue why the landscaper spread it, since he has done this for me for years, using clean rocks. Anyhow, we called that day to notify the manager that the rock is not dirty, it’s full of dirt, and has minus (very small) materials in it as well, she basically told us that’s how rock comes and if we thought it would help she would discount another load 10%. This was not acceptable, why would I want more dirt, I wanted a discount on the product I already bought, since I got about 30% dirt. Bottom line, is be carful buying rock there, problems happen, that I get, but when you sell a bunch of dirt, you shouldn’t try to sell me more and think I should be happy to get more dirt, terrible customer service!

"I used to avoid Star Nursery for years, but the new crew has completely turned this place around! The customer service is the best I’ve seen in a long time. Bri and the rest of the team are professional, helpful, kind. and they actually know their stuff. As a local business owner, this is now my go-to spot for my irrigation and landscape needs. 5 star service!"
