5 stars! We are big fans of Tucson Cactus and Koi. It’s one of our favorite places in town. We love that we can stop in for things we need, like our TEP trees, Tank’s soil, pond plants, fish food, and water treatments, but it’s also just a fun place to spend an afternoon. We always end up strolling through the cactus gallery and checking out the gift shop. Our favorite thing is picking out a one-gallon cactus and a special adenium. They also have a great pottery selection (he lava glazes are my favorite) and you really never know what you’ll find in the gift shop. Haley and Paul are great! We always enjoy stopping by and always leave with something good.

I’ve sourced the vast majority of my backyard plants from Tucson Cactus and Koi and I couldn't be happier. The quality and health of their plants are consistently top-notch. Beyond the plants, I’m so grateful for the relationship I’ve built with their team; they are incredibly supportive of the local community and have been kind enough to allow me to advertise my own professional snake relocation business on-site. If you’re looking for a nursery with both expert-level knowledge and a genuine heart for the Tucson community, this is the place to go.

I rarely write reviews, but Tucson Cactus and Koi absolutely earned this one. I originally found them after seeing they had a very rare collector specimen cactus available. I purchased two, and after seeing the quality firsthand, ended up placing several more orders. Every plant arrived healthy, established, and honestly exceeded expectations. You can immediately tell this is a really great collector-oriented nursery run by people who actually know and care about plants. Their selection is exceptional, especially for rare and unusual material that is difficult to source. What stood out even more was the communication and customer service. The general manager and team were incredibly kind, responsive, and professional throughout the process, especially over Instagram. They made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. It’s refreshing to deal with a physical nursery that still operates with integrity, passion, and genuine enthusiasm for the hobby. Highly recommended for anyone serious about cacti, succulents, caudiciforms, or rare collector plants. 5 Stars all the way ★★★★★

Lots of cactus, not much in the koi department, I went for aquatic plants but couldn't find anything, I wandered around for a bit and encountered ZERO staff. It's almost as if the place was abandoned. I HUGE disappointment as I had driven from the east side of town.
