A very lovely store. I will absolutely be returning. The philodenron I got is in great health with plenty of new growth, and reasonably priced. Plant lovers must visit.

I have purchased plants from Maples twice (a Marble Queen and a Fiddleleaf Philodendron) and been gifted 2 plants (a Florida Ghost and a Philodendron Tortum) from Maples as well, each plant was received in excellent condition: full health, pest free and showing new growth. Each visit I was met by a friendly employee who offered guidance on how to care for the plant I was taking home that day and who took time to talk with me about my plant preferences and experiences. Finding a store with unique and uncommon plants is special enough but to find one with personable staff that offers their expertise and patience in today’s society is appreciated beyond all measure and that’s just what you’ll find at Maples Apothecary! I look forward to visits in downtown Yuma, just to spend time enjoying the plants there and as always, finding my next plant friend on one of their shelves!

The Maples Apothecary is an absolute gem. Their selection of rare and unique plants is incredible, and you can truly tell how much care, knowledge, and passion goes into everything they offer. The plants are healthy, well cared for, and thoughtfully sourced. The owners are kind, approachable, and genuinely love what they do, which makes the experience even better. Whether you’re a serious plant collector or just starting out, this place is special. Highly recommend supporting this amazing small business!

This is a must-stop shop for me when in downtown. They have unique gifts and lots of healthy plants to choose from. Such a gem for a place like Yuma where you don’t want to rely on the big box stores for your indoor houseplant needs!
