Desert Empire Palms

We are a local private country club in Rancho Mirage. Matt and his team did a fantastic job installing beautiful diamond cut date Palms for us. Very organized and on time and on budget. I would recommend these guys 100%.

Just bought a House in Palm Springs. Was just rudely hung up on by Desert Empire Palms. I was polite and inquiring about moving 2 very large Mexican Fan Palms. The person told me that it would be very expensive and recommended cutting down and replacing. I said "OK", can you give me a rough idea what these two options would cost? I am not looking for a quote, just an idea". Then without responding he said "I am not really interested in your job" then he rudely HUNG UP before I could even respond. If you want to give rude people your job, then Desert Empire Palms is your place. Unbelievably completely untrue response from the owner. The conversation happened exactly as I described. I came away not angry, but SHOCKED. Misrepresenting (well really outright lies) about a customer is not good business and simply proves that there is a bad attitude at this company and owner. An appropriate response would have been to express regret that the customer was unhappy, that the customer may have misunderstood the conversation, and that it was not the owner's intent to leave this impression.

I reached out to Desert Empire Palms via email. Received a response within the hour. We are a Pasadena based landscape and tree service. Lately we have been helping clients evaluate their landscapes after the firestorm. It is particularly difficult to assess mature trees and I was unable to get help from other arborists or even ISA. In this case, a burned out family returned to their lot to find that a neighbor had cut to the ground a healthy, unburned 26' tall Canary Island Palm. He wanted to improve his view and took the only live tree left on this family's land. Thanks to Desert Empire and some helpful formulas and other useful information regarding specimen palms, we are able to provide a value for this tree for the family's lawsuit. Desert Empire Palms did a great job planting 8 date palms in our house in Del Mar- CA. All the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Mark had the best price in town and he is the nicest person! Definitely recommend this company to anyone!

We purchased 3 date palms from Desert Empire Palms. Mark was very nice and happily spent a fair amount of time helping us get exactly what we wanted. The palms were very healthy and we already see new growth on them after a couple of months.
