About the Nursery

Desert plant nursery and landscaper. Top products: desert plants, trees, shrubbery, hardscape materials. La Hacienda Nursery & Landscape, Inc. is a family-owned and operated horticultural business based in the Coachella Valley, established in 1979. Operating from a 17-acre facility, the nursery specializes in the cultivation and sale of high-quality, climate-appropriate flora, focusing on native and desert-adapted plants, trees, and shrubs designed to thrive in arid environments. Beyond their retail nursery operations, the company functions as a comprehensive landscaping firm. They serve a diverse clientele, including residential homeowners and commercial property owners, by providing full-service landscape architecture, design, and installation. Their core offerings encompass the supply of hardy plant material, installation of hardscape elements such as stone patios, pavers, and retaining walls, as well as integrated services like irrigation system installation, night illumination, and ongoing grounds maintenance. Their mission centers on providing robust, low-maintenance vegetation alongside professional site development to enhance local property aesthetics.

Very helpful staff! Mike took me around to find the perfect plumeria for our project in the back yard. Very knowledgeable on plants, even showed me what it will look like in a few years when it's full and established. Price was not bad either!

Their workers blow sand at your cars damaging the paint covering your car in sand if you are parked on the public street near where they are working

I signed up for weekly residential yard maintenance and the quality of work performance was very poor. Three weeks in a row I clocked the crew spending less that 11 minutes on my property. That comes to about $6.20 per minute. Needless to say, not much got done and the yard looked bad - plants dying or falling over in the wind with no reaction by the crew, in-ground landscape light fixtures covered in gravel and gravel mounds and bald spots growing from high winds and never a rake touching them, weeds sprouting, and finally spotty follow up on requests to address these concerns. I terminated the service For 1/2 the price I just now watched my new landscape company's crew spend 40 minutes in my yard and it's never looked better.
