Excellent healthy plant selection and reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

This nursery is located directly across from RV Nursery—a place I frequent regularly. I usually stop by here after finishing my shopping at RV, hoping to unearth a few more treasures; regrettably, however, my shopping experiences here have consistently proven to be disappointing. For starters, the overall prices of their plants are more than 20% higher than those at RV Nursery; succulents, in particular, cost nearly double what they do elsewhere. The vast majority of the staff here have terrible attitudes—most notably the owner's daughter, who comes across as incredibly arrogant and condescending. On one occasion, an employee offered me a one-dollar discount; yet, when the owner's daughter discovered this, she actually went ahead and revoked the discount. Furthermore, the shop strongly prefers cash payments but is reluctant to voluntarily provide receipts. I have to insist repeatedly before they grudgingly hand a receipt over to me; and even when I do receive one, it displays only the total amount, completely lacking any itemized breakdown. It has truly been an extremely frustrating experience

This nursery is outstanding. They have thousands of different varieties of plants. They will probably have just about anything you want. The nursery is huge, it goes way back underneath the power lines. The workers are very friendly and helpful and if you need help picking out a plant or loading it, they will take care of all of that. The staff is very friendly, very courteous and the prices are outstanding. I found a Carolina Laurel Cherry for 1/3 the price of a popular large nursery. I highly recommend you come here.

I bought a clay pot for $20, but it felt a bit expensive, so I went back to Home Depot to check and found it was $7. I feel so cheated, but since I've already planted the flowers, I had no choice but to just consider it a loss of $20. However, I feel upset every time I look at the pot.

Everything you need for your flower/plant needs. A ton of selection and huge inventory. They offer wagons to carry what you plan on buying and even golf carts in case what you want is located on the far end of the nursery. The workers are very friendly and super helpful if you have any questions. The prices can't be beat. We have been buying from Martinez nursery for years and will continue to do so.
