Today my husband and I bought 3 trees from Loma Bonita nursery. We plan on growing our trees in large pots but to keep them smaller than if they were landscaped. The trees we chose are 2 liquid amber trees and 1 weeping willow. The choice was hard because there are so many beautiful, healthy trees at this nursery. We had to use the process of illumination while choosing, wind being a main factor and deciduous vs evergreen being another. We like the latter and live where the wind is a constant on that side of the house. The 2 Amber's will go in our smal backyard which is adjacent to our room and deck. Luckily, they tolerate wind. The willow is going in the front. It also doesn't mind the wind. Our trees are in 5 gallon pots but we will transfer them to 20 gallon pots for their duration. The nursery is superb. There are many plant varieties. Flowers, cacti, bushes, shrubs and trees everywhere! All the trees are magnificent and a portion of the prices at other nurseries in the area.
