I love this place! Beautiful selection of native plants and very friendly folks there to help show you around. I felt so much better (and better informed) buying plants here and supporting this nonprofit than buying from Home Depot. My life is forever changed for the better.

I purchased several plants here in early November and am very pleased with how they are all doing so far. The nursery is a bit hidden away and fairly small, but they had a really nice selection and all the plants looked incredibly healthy and well-developed. They had a good stock of some popular varieties that have been out of stock elsewhere. The team was friendly and helpful. Their prices were similar to what you would pay at other native plant nurseries.
A nice, voluteer-run nursery specializing in native plants that do well in the SoCal climate. They often put on events, like the one went to, that was free to the community. Trust your GPS - it takes a bit to get there even after you think!
Public response to the other reviewer, their Instagram says they're on hiatus but their website under the Arroyo Seco Foundation has more info! I volunteer at a beautiful native plant nursery that also falls under a non-profit called Dry Creek Preserve and I'd like to say, they're(small native plant nurseries) are worth the time of waiting and visiting! So I'm very excited to visit Hahamongna Native Plant Nursery when they open again! And wishing them well!
Does anyone know if this place is permanently closed? I went there and everything seemed boarded up.
