Sadly, there's more Tropical Milkweed and not nearly enough California native milkweed available. I contacted several local gardening places and found that most either didn't carry Milkweed at ALL or only stocked the tropical variety. Fortunately, I was able to connect with Johnny's Nursery, where they had both Showy Milkweed 🦋and Narrowleaf Milkweed 🦋 in stock. purchased two of each. At $24.50 per plant plus 8.58% tax, the total came to $106.58. The fist picture is at the Nursery the second, they have wagons which greatly helped with the loading to the car. The last picture is the Milkweeds making it to their new home. 😌

Drove in to buy a Peach Tree and the 2 young men working there helped me out a bit,but it took the sweetest dog to notify the lady in charge Teresa I believe was her name. With expertise and some comforting chat I purchased a Bonanza Dwarf peach tree. Filled with flowers and looking super healthy. The tree was a birthday gift .Johnny's Nursery you have made a customer for years to come..We wish you a great year
