We live on the East Coast, and have been looking for some very specific mint and rosemary varietals but could not find anything locally. Mount Valley Growers had exactly what we needed, so we gave them a try. We could not be more pleased. The plants arrived so healthy and safely packed with easy-to-understand instructions. I am including a photo of our banana mint plant after repotting a few weeks ago. It was a little thing when it arrived but with a visibly strong root system. You can see it has just exploded, and I couldn't be happier. The smell is unreal! Thank you for your approach to plants. Your insistence on shipping by air is absolutely essential for the viability of these plants, and the results show it! We will absolutely buy from Mount Valley Growers again and trust them without question!

Update: After much back and forth through email I was given a gift certificate for about one-third of my original purchase. This time the plugs I ordered came in great condition with only minimal soil loss. Thank you to the company for making an effort to try and remedy this situation. I will order again in the future. I want to start out by saying I goofed and emailed the wrong company with my complaint. I placed an order for plugs on a Sunday. Got UPS confirmation on Monday for shipment. But did not receive my order until Friday. When I opened the box the plants were mostly damaged. I immediately sent an email with details along with pictures of my order. The weekend came and went. On Tuesday I checked my emails because I had not yet heard back, this is when I realized I had emailed the wrong company. I then emailed the nursery and got a response fairly quickly stating that I waived warranty at shipping. Which I did, but only because the system would not allow me to add it to place my order. The person also stated that I would have needed to also email them with pictures within two days of receiving my order. Which I would have also done had I emailed the right company. I expressed this in my return email. I even forwarded the original email sent to the wrong company to confirm the email showing the damage went out the day I received my order. They have completely ignored any correspondence. I have ordered hundred of plants throughout the years always purchasing insurance. And I would have done so if their system allowed it. Please be wary of this company as they will not help remedy bad plants.

I ordered a dozen miniature roses from Mountain Valley. I ordered in January for shipping in April. I received beautiful little plants packaged perfectly, and they arrived right on time. No damage and several were in bud. I'm extremely pleased with both service and products.

Buyer beware. I bought herb plants that arrived in one box. At least one plant had insects. I contacted the company to let them know then I treated the shipment. They refused to replaced the one plant that died after treatment because I didn't photograph the plants upon receipt or leave them in the original containers. Buy from a different nursery that stands behind its products.

I am very happy with my lavender plug order from Mountain Valley Growers! Excellent email communication for shipping, easy ordering, costs! The care that was used to pack and ship these plants was outstanding! The plants arrived happy and healthy! We will definitely order again!
