I have a old grove of old hamii bamboo.I planted it about 25 years ago. All the new canes are at the edges of the space. The middle section is all old stumps that I cut down years ago. Is there any way I can encourage new growth in this 4' area?

Joy: The middle section is rootbound and is unlikely to produce new growth. The only way to encourage growth in that area is to cut out and remove root mass, which is quite difficult. if you want to send some pictures, we can take a look. Joe

What an absolute pleasure working with this company! The owner Joe Ruffatto and Director of Business Operations Cristie are responsive and helpful. I needed 36 plants for a trade show event, which had a lot of requirements: Plants all uniform height, NDA, tight delivery window, Vendor / Driver information forms to be filed out and signed. They came through with everything we needed AND did so with a high level of professionalism. Highly recommend Bamboo Sourcery, this is a great company to work with.

After searching the Bay area for Bamboo, Half Moon Bay Nursery told me if you want quality Bamboo contact Bamboo Sourcery Nursery. I immediately went to their website and was mesmerized by the vast inventory and information provided. I felt transported to Shangri-La. Unfortunately, I was not able to visit their location, nevertheless, Cristie helped me over the phone with professionalism, patience and expertise. I was able to purchase 15 five foot plants and have them delivered and planted. The workmen did an outstanding job and the backyard was left immaculate. They handled each plant with gentle care and left us detailed instruction on how to care for them. We are thrilled
