About the Nursery

Mature Tree Relocation Specialist. Top products: Colorado Spruce, Shade Trees, Ornamental Trees, Fruit Trees. Todd Creek Nursery, operating under the brand TreesFree.com, specializes in the procurement, relocation, and installation of large, mature nursery-grade trees for residential and commercial clients in Colorado. The business focuses on high-impact landscaping, providing large evergreen, shade, ornamental, and fruit trees, often ranging from 8 to 18 feet in height. Their core operational model revolves around a 'rescue and relocation' strategy, where they provide the trees themselves as a primary service value, with costs structured around labor, equipment usage, and delivery rather than traditional retail markups. They cater primarily to homeowners looking for immediate landscaping maturity and volume, offering discounts for bulk orders of ten or more trees. Their expertise includes the professional transport and onsite planting of sizable specimens using specialized heavy equipment. The company positions itself as a cost-effective alternative to traditional garden centers by eliminating retail tree markup, focusing instead on the logistics and labor required for installing fully-grown, mature plant stock.

This guy post pictures of trees that are not in his field. I wasted an hour driving out there to see trees that were not the height I was lead to believe through photos, nor the varieties advertised.

Todd Creek sells second rate trees which in some cases are not legal to be sold because they are insect infested, diseased and/or have root balls that are too small for the size of the trunk. They did not plant the trees properly and left a huge mess on my property. In fact, the USDA who came and inspected the trees. They determined that trees sold to me by Todd Creek should have been put in a wood chipper and not sold. Their trees are cheap for a reason.
