I bought a desert rose, Adenium obesum, one year ago for $55. At the same time I bought a smaller one off Amazon for $15. The Amazon plant is the same size now with glossy leaves. The Tagawa one has half brown leaves and hasn’t grown at all. Same growing conditions. I’m considering trashing the Tagawa plant. Can’t say that you can extrapolate this instance to cover all their plants, but I won’t be back.
Impressive garden center! The scale of the place is enormous. The sections are well labeled, staff is attentive to both you and the inventory. The plants are truly well tended. The outdoor section is not the biggest we have seen but it is well stocked. The assortment of plant related goods was ok, nothing fancy. The prices were high but they do appear to run discounts through the seasons
This is a very pretty nursery. The problem is everything is priced insanely high, and the plants are not great quality. I see a lot of weathered and browning plants when I stop in, and they often lack in the variety of species or sizes I'd expect from a nursery of this size. I've been trying to shop at this place for years, since it is the closest nursery to our home, but I think I'll have to give up.
I purchased all of my trees from here, and they handled both the delivery and planting flawlessly. This place is massive! Not only do they have a vast selection of trees, plants, and flowers, but they also offer a wide variety of fountains and garden decor. As a bonus, they even sell local goodies like frozen pies, honey, and salsa. Highly recommended!
