Went to this shop for the first time today. The staff were super nice, answered all my dumb plant questions and just let me admire the plants for a while. If you want a beautiful bushy monstera they have some gorgeous deliciosas and a few highly variegated Thai cons that I almost brought home! Came home with a super cute alocasia and some tips for some struggling plants at home. Def will be back
Went to look for a plant for my mother for Mother’s Day, on the website it said they were open. When we showed up to the store they were closed and we even called them and got no answer. Unhappy with the poor communication and customer service. Save your time and gas.
Wide variety and selection of plants and the owners were super helpful and knowledgeable when I was looking for plants that would be non toxic to my cat!
Easily one of the best plant shops in Denver. I always manage to find a plant I've never seen before in The Herbery. From beginner-friendly/affordable plants to rare, collectible, unique specimens, The Herbery consistently has something for everyone. And since they've been in business for almost 6 decades (amazing!), they offer a wealth of knowledge and advice about the plants they sell. Their prices are always competitive, but on the whole I've found many plants that were much more expensive at other Denver shops than at the Herbery. For all of these reasons, the Herbery has been, and will continue to be, my primary source as a plant collector.
I have been buying plants almost exclusively from this shop since I discovered it in 2006; I wish I’d found it sooner. The Herbery is quite simply the best plant shop I’ve ever encountered. Every time I come in, I’m (unrealistically) thinking I’m about to purchase a single plant- but I leave with 4. Their superior selection includes the usual suspects but there are always unique and interesting species and variegations that I inevitably realize I require in my home. Good calm people, happy healthy plants, and deep knowledge willingly shared. Thank you, Dennis and fam- our home is greener and it’s all your fault :)
