Good spot to cut your own Christmas tree. $85 seems kind of steep for a tree but worth it for the family experience.

If you want to start a family tradition, and make wonderful memories, then this is the place to for you! From the second we drove past the shack, everyone we encountered was kind, courteous, and welcoming. Tall, short, slim, and wide. There are so many trees to choose from. Wear some boots, bundle up, and fill your thermos with hot cocoa. What a great experience. I also want to thank Julia, and Joe Dzen for helping make right an issue I had with my tree. We will definitely return.
Every tree, no matter the size is 90 dollars. No wonder when many of the trees were small and bare. They is no cart to help you carry your tree to the bailing station, so we had to drag it. Not fun. When my son went to see Santa he was too timid to go get his picture taken. I asked him a few times, but I'm not going to force him. When we went to leave, he saw that his cousin, (who got her photo with Santa) got an ornament, he wanted one too. I told him to go ask for one. When he asked, Ms. Clause said, "You won't take a photo, but want an ornament. Do you see anything wrong with that?" No! I don't know why she was being rude, my son just wanted an ornament. There isn't a sign saying that he had to get his photo with Santa in order to receive an ornament. I won't be back.
While our overall visit to the Tree Farm was satisfactory, the Santa experience left much to be desired. The Santa on duty during our visit was notably unfriendly and unengaged. He showed little interest in interacting with children, let alone holding or connecting with them for photos. While I understand that he may have personal boundaries, his attitude dampened what should have been a magical moment. Unfortunately, this aspect significantly diminished the overall experience for us.
Best deal in CT. Yes, there a not a ton of 8-10' and yes, some are skimpy at the bottom but if you walk far enough you will find what you are looking for. As far as having to "lug" your tree back to the car, that's what they did back in the old days accept without the car! Some people are just not very active
