I guess this is what Ecuagenera considers a healthy orchid. Be wary ordering online.

This place has great plants / Orchids but slow customer service. We ordered 14 orchids for mothers day and one was brown and dying. Once I got ahold of Nikole. She saved the day replacing the dead orchid with one of our choice! She turned around a potentially bad customer experience. See you at the next Orchid show!

There are two kinds of people working for Ecuagenera: those skilled and hardworking who actually grow the plants (in Ecuador) and those who are not (the management). I bought from Ecuagenera USA Corp two Fragmapedilums. I was informed that they are sold out. Asked to cancel the order. Then the orchids were magically found and sent to me in "as is" condition - broken, with no roots for the full price ($200) without previously informing me about those conditions or sending actual plants pictures.

I ORDERED TWO COLOMBIAN ORCHIDS AT $30 EACH AS A PRESENT TO A WOMAN AND THEY SENT THEM NOT EVEN IN POTS THEY WERE WRAPPED WITH TAPE AROUND THE ROOTS WITH TISSUE PAPER AND BROWN PAPER. THIS IS THE GARBAGE THEY SENT ME ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS. WHAT A RIP OFF HOW EMBARRASSING IT IS TO SEND THIS TO SOMEBODY SHAME ON YOU.

I went there thinking the plants would be in good condition, but I was sorely disappointed. I found orchids at a good price, but they were dehydrated, some were rotting, and they had bugs on them—honestly, it was actually depressing. I had to go back to the other nursery to buy the orchid and pay more
