My wife and I used Canterbury Farms to design and install various plants in the front of our home in New Porrt Richey. From the intial design and assistance in choosing the proper plants by Landscape Designer Jamie Payne, our experience with Canterbury Farms has been wonderful. The communication and support from Jamie was excellent. We also can't say enough about the crew that installed the plantings in accordance with the design. Jeremy, Cobi and John did a great job, enhancing the entire process. I highly recommend Canterbury Farms and these employees for your future landscaping requirements.

Canterbury Farms Nursery has become so much more than a place where we buy plants — it’s a place that has genuinely helped shape our home and our happiness. We have been loyal customers for years, and every experience with them has reminded us why we keep coming back. When we built our new home on an acre lot, the idea of starting our landscaping from scratch felt overwhelming. But discovering Canterbury changed everything. The moment you arrive, you’re struck by the size of the nursery — it’s absolutely enormous. You might think it’s meant only for commercial clients, but then someone in a bright Canterbury shirt and straw hat greets you with a huge smile and a warm “Welcome, how can I help you?” That simple kindness sets the tone for everything that follows. Before long, you’re riding in a quad through fields of palms, crape myrtles, magnolias, and more plants than you could ever imagine. As transplants from up north, we knew nothing about Zone 9 or Florida’s climate, but Canterbury never made us feel out of place. Instead, they made us feel supported. A heartfelt thank you goes to Matthew, who spent countless hours listening to our vision, educating us, and guiding us through options that fit our goals and our budget. His patience and care made all the difference. His knowledge, passion and accessibility is exemplary. But Matthew isn’t alone. The entire staff reflects the same warmth, professionalism, and pride in their work — and that’s a direct reflection of Peter’s leadership. Peter has built a team that treats customers like neighbors and projects like personal commitments. You can feel his influence in every interaction: the kindness, the honesty, the willingness to go the extra mile. Their installation crew ( Alex, John, and many others) have visited our home several times as we continue to expand our landscaping, and every visit has been exceptional. They’re polite, courteous, and always leave the area spotless. And when a few plants didn’t survive the initial transplant, Canterbury honored their warranty without hesitation — they came out, dug them up, and replaced them with healthy new ones, no questions asked. Canterbury Farms Nursery isn’t just a commercial nursery supplier. It’s a group of people — led by this guy Peter, supported by Matthew and carried by an incredible staff — like Dawn who genuinely care about helping create something beautiful. They’ve helped bring our property to life, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I can’t even believe we know them all by first names. This positive review may appear to be a bit over the top but that is because we are a happy customer.

Large inventory friendly people good prices

Can't say enough good things about our experience with Canterbury Farms. Jamie Linn came out to the house to talk too us about our landscaping needs after the January freeze. She worked quickly to give us her ideas and sent a drawing of how it would look. When we went to the farm she had all the plants laid out in one spot so we could see if we had any questions. After we made a few changes the installation day was set. Jeremy and John were here on time.While John removed the dead plants Jeremy laid out the new landscaping so we could see how it would look. They took pride in their work and it showed in the finished product. They made sure the drip hose worked properly and cleaned up when they had finished. From start to finish the process took about 30 days. All through the process we had great communication and all appointments were kept on time. Highly recommend Canterbury Farms.
