Yes, we carry a nice selection of native plants.  We carry plants that grow well in central Florida.  And we have a large variety of plants and trees in many different sizes. We will be gald to introduce you to this area and what does well.  YOu will need to identify the growing area where you plan to plant the items, such as sunlight and other plantings.

Do you have summer squash plants?

We do have many of our vegetables including squash.  Every week we get new shipment of vegies but we don't usually know what is coming in that week until that Monday when we place the order.  Vegies usually come in on Tuesday, but sometimes we get a second delivery on Thursday or Friday to have enough for customers over the weekend. Do you sell sod? If so, what type, what are the prices per pallet, and how many square feet does it cover?

We do not sell grass at all.  You might try Lukas Nursery.  I believe they sell grass,

looking for Algerian Ivy or Aseatic Jasmine for under tree as ground cover. My house is very close to the nursery. Any other ideas for shady ground cover?

Jim, the owner has both the green type and the tri color shade tolerant types. I would give them a call, they almost always have this in stock. Just Google the phone number and the staff is always so very friendly:-)

Is there a community compost here?

Not really.  We do a lot of our own composting and occasionally a customer will ask to add to one of our compost piles.  So it is not a readily open concept.  Call and ask about your interest.  Speak to Jim.

I am sorry but we do not have any in stock right now.  Unfortunately we probably will not have any more until the fall.  You are welcome to check back with us then.  Good luck in finding some elsewhere.

Yukon Gold does not grow well here.  You can try Shumways Seed to probably find them. We have Pontiac Red and Kennbec White that we grow here for sale right now.  Call me if you have any questions.

Do you purchase plants from people who are willing to sell?

I am sorry but we can only buy from a certified nursery that has a registration and authorization to sell to other nurseries.  We usually suggest Craig's list or Merchandise to sell in the Orlando Sentinel.  Good Luck and thanks for your inquiry.
