Fruit is tasty and they offered free samples of the many varieties that were available. The plants and potted trees that were for sale looked healthy.

The best fruit I ever had in my life. Miami Fruit SUCKS compared to these mangoes, mangosteins, egg fruit, cherimoya, sapodilla …I’m sure I’m forgetting some bangers and other exotics I tried at the mango tasting event!! I take a hi do and go get giant mangoes from Mina when he vends at the Reid Farm and that’s all I want to eat during mango season bc they are out of this world delicious like you haven’t ever HAD a mango til you had Mina’s!!! He comes from south Florida and rents a booth at Reid Farm and it’s cool cos they’re all friends!!! Real salt of the earth people. I think their main thing is they sell fruit tree saplings and other bananas and fruit and veg! Also natural food items in jars. They even have a gummy worm fruit boy is that a trip!!! There’s a fruit after you have it in your mouth 10 seconds it makes a lemon taste like lemon candy like magic. They will let you sample. Feels great to buy local from people who are t destroying the planet, and cheaper and most delicious overall too. Also there’s another chick and her man and they are farmers and she makes a natural balm for your face which is great I use it at night. They have events and are very cool people and there’s a friendly cat and dog who are chillers. You park on the dirt road and close the gate behind you and just walk up. Someone will come out to help. And if you’re disabled they will also carry your bounty to your vehicle as well. I love these people and they also support local musicians. It feels like a safe space to be morning myself, no makeup required. Roll outta bed and get mangoes! 🥭 A+++ hidden gem in Volusia county round the corner from Orange City/lakehelen/deland
