1st time checking out Leonards Nursery from a neighbor. Its small but the people there are very knowledgeable and i showed them a picture of our front yard and wanted suggestions of what was better to plant then what was already there. The gentlemen suggest great ideas. Would totally recommend this place if you want to replace or need ideas for your front yard or backyard.
My wife and I were interested in replacing a dying Christmas palm tree. One recent Saturday we browsed about ten different nurseries in the Sarasota area for the prefect replacement. On our last stop of the day, we hit Leonard's Nursery. There, we found what we were looking for…a reasonably priced, three trunk Foxtail palm. Their service could not have been better. Beverly took the time to talk to us about the reason the frost killed our Christmas palm. Alex and crew did a fantastic job placing the new tree in the perfect spot. We will certainly be using Leonard's Nursery again and recommending them to our neighbors and local friends.
We have always had excellent experiences with Leonard’s Nursery. The service was responsive, creative, and helpful with lovely results. Beverly brings her innate talent as an artist to her work with plants. Just recently we wanted to refresh our flower pots, so we stopped in again and discovered that the Nursery itself had undergone an amazing and beautiful refresh! The place looks great—pleasing to the eye, easy to navigate and shop, with the same personal touch from Beverly in helping us decide (and install!) some new flowers. Great business, great service, great inventory, great people!
We stopped in on our way home from a friends. I am sooooo glad we did!!! We were greeted as we were getting out of the car. From then until we left the service was impeccable—friendly, informative, listened to what I wanted. Although it looks small there are so many interesting plants, different than the normal Florida selection. The plants are super healthy AND well priced! We bought several plants that day and ended up going back the next day for a couple more!! I can’t wait to go back and see what is there the next time we go!
Great service and the lady who was helping me was very helpful. I do not remember her name. The prices are very good. I will definitely be back.
