Beautiful nursery, but if you decide to use Millennium for landscaping, document everything. They weren't easy to schedule with and then I received a call the morning of the installation explaining that they had forgotten to include the cost of the demo work that was already included in the original scope. He apologized profusely but the fact remained that the project would now cost an additional $600 (discounted from the $750 increase they originally planned to tack on) for the same work we had already agreed upon. At that point, I had already waited weeks for the installation and had coordinated other vendors around the project, so I reluctantly agreed to move forward rather than start over and delay everything. My new oak tree from their nursery is beautiful, and that part of the project went well but the mulch was installed directly over existing weeds, and while the crew did return after I raised concerns, the work was still not completed to the standard we had discussed. I ultimately ended up finishing portions of the project myself. After the project, they called and emailed me several times regarding final payment, but I simply needed to mail a check. Then, less than a month after the installation and before I had mailed the final payment, I received a Notice to Owner that could result in a lien on my property from them. After communicating with their office, they provided a waiver upon final payment, and I immediately mailed a check for the remaining balance. After the project was paid in full, they emailed me claiming I still owed an additional $600. After multiple emails and repeated demands from their accounting department that the balance was correct, I discovered that the same $600 charge that had been added on the day of installation was being counted twice. I had to create a side-by-side comparison of the original proposal, revised proposal, and invoices before the issue was finally escalated to ownership and corrected. The company ultimately acknowledged the accounting error and confirmed that my account had been paid in full. Our new oak tree is beautiful and I love it, but the overall experience was frustrating. Between the last-minute price increase, the quality issues with portions of the work, the Notice to Owner, and the billing inaccuracies, this project required far more time and effort than it should have.
