I would not recommend doing business with Landscape Depot. I ordered black mulch over the phone and was told that if I wasn’t going to be home, I would need to have a tarp. I asked if I could put the tarp on the grass next to the driveway, and I was told that as long as they didn’t need to put the truck wheels on my grass, I’d be okay to place the tarp next to my driveway. I was told they would update the delivery instructions accordingly. They also said I would receive a phone call prior to the driver arriving, which would be the perfect time to sort out any delivery issues. I bought a tarp specifically because I was told I’d need one, and placed it next to the driveway as agreed. I even made a sign and hung it next to the tarp that said, “feel free to move the tarp if you need to.” My mother-in-law was home at the time and watched the delivery driver pull up and dump the mulch in the driveway, completely ignoring the delivery instructions, tarp placement, and my sign. I never received a phone call from Landscape Depot. My mother-in-law walked outside to speak with the driver, who told her that dumping the mulch in the driveway is “company policy.” They completely disregarded the agreed-upon plan. I immediately left work early to remove the mulch to try to prevent staining, but it still left a mark. I’ve tried to clean it, but the dark circle remains visible on my light gray paver driveway. I called and asked to speak to someone in charge. The general manager returned my call and explained that the driver is not trained to read signs, which is why he did not move my tarp. Is the driver trained in common sense or common courtesy? The manager also told me the driver tried knocking on the door, which is false. She also said they called me, which is also false. My doorbell camera and phone logs are evidence. I explained the agreement made during ordering, and she said the phone calls are recorded and would need to be reviewed. She also mentioned they were having phone issues, and she would call me back in two days. She did call back, but only to say she still hadn’t had a chance to review the recordings. She said she would try again the following week. Time has passed and I have not heard back. I am extremely displeased with the lack of organization, courtesy, and willingness to take responsibility, including being told things about the delivery driver’s actions that are not true. I bought a tarp I was told I needed, it wasn’t used, I had to leave work early to prevent staining, and I am left with a stain in my driveway. Do not use Landscape Depot.

Terrible! I called to see how late they were open. They told me 4:30 PM and recommended for me to come in. I got there at 3:30 PM the same day and the place was shut down. Not a soul in sight. I tried calling several times no answer. I had to drive over a half an hour to get there from Merritt Island. I should’ve known when I spoke to the guy who had a dopey New York accent that this place was going be looser! I’d avoid it altogether. There’s so many other people that deal with Gravel in this county don’t waste your time! (Just as a sidenote, I’m from New York City and I left to avoid these type of people!)
They are the best natural landscape material provider in east Florida. They deliver, and they are nice and professional.
Great products when available, great color choices, poor customer service. Exc I ses from rocks not washed, we have no bags, having troubles with deliveries, some one else coming in buying same color etc. Offered to pay up front
Just a heads up, they AREN’T accommodating for residential owners. Smallest size of landscaping rock is an 80 pound bag. I asked if I could bring tubs to break it down to fit in my SUV. He wasn’t even interested in accommodating me. So being a 100% disabled veteran, look to someone more accommodating. Sadly they have nice products. Lucky for us there are lots of other gracious landscaping suppliers in Brevard County.
