This garden soil was more of a compost but It is the real deal. Mike delivered and walked soil to my garden beds in 45 min flat. I would recommend aerating with peat moss and perlite. I will definitely buy again. Acorns are in this dirt so you may want to pick them out when you see them

Unfortunately, the garden soil was not very good for us. To begin, the company was quick to respond, helpful, and the delivery was fast and pleasant. Their garden soil is spongy, drains well, and is easy to work. However, the soil we received had several fist sized pieces of concrete, which take up space, don't help plants, and concrete will leech moisture from the dirt. There were also many pieces of plastic, such as plastic bag material. I understand a few pieces may blow in, but we found more than a few. My garden did not get off to a great start. Out of concern, I immediately tested the soil. The results were: PH: 7.5 alkaline N: depleted P: sufficient K: sufficient. Nitrogen is the key component to leaf and plant growth. The combination of high PH and low nitrogen does indicate that this soil was not prepared with sufficient green plant matter in the compost. If you buy this product, you may need to amend with a soil acidifier, for plants that prefer a 5.5 - 7.0 ph, and add additional nitrogen. This is a pain, because in florida, you can't buy nitrogen fertilizer in the summer months. This garden soil is not unusable, but I would suggest you plan to test it and amend it before planting.

Mike was really helpful. I ordered organic compost mix and a few yards of brown mulch. He saw that I left the items in my cart on the website and called to tell me he could offer a better price over the phone. Our driveway is tricky but I was able to text him a screenshot of where I needed the drop off and he got it done within a few days! The mulch is a little bit chunky, but I expect it will start breaking down quickly when the rains start in a few weeks.
