The juniper bonsai I purchased from this seller (at the local farmer’s market) was not viable. The tree was inadequately rooted and placed in an undersized pot, which caused rapid decline despite appropriate care, indicating the plant was not healthy at the time of sale. When I attempted to address this issue, the owner, Lou, was dismissive and rude, and made it clear he does not take responsibility for the condition of his products. Selling plants in this state is irresponsible. I showed the juniper to several plant experts who agreed. I DO NOT recommend this vendor, and have cautioned other folks in the community against him.

My 10 year old son received a Bonsai from this store as a gift for his birthday. In the plant instructions it tells you to contact them via email if there are any issues. Immediately upon arrival, the plant was losing leaves and seemed unhealthy. We emailed and sent photos and eventually got a response that they would ship a replacement. It’s been over 10 weeks since that promise was made and I’ve followed up multiple times to our email chain and have not received a response. Do not trust!!

Had the most wonderful experience with Lou at the nursery. He was a great teacher to my bonsai loving son at our lesson! Bonsai-ing is such an art and it is apparent the care and love that is put into Lou's bonsai trees! Highly recommend!!
