We stayed at Braziflora Farms with our Class B motorhome and tow car. We found it through Harvest Hosts program. What a truly lovely place and such a gracious host, Dilma. It's 10 acres of gorgeous farmland near Panasoffkee Lake just off I-75. Quiet, peaceful, filled with good vibes. The host farms, raises trees, flowers, plants and offers farm to table meals with 20+ guests. She also has for purchase wonderful jams, pickles and farm fresh eggs. We sampled to our hearts' content then bought several reasonably priced items including Mango jam,Strawberry guava jam, tomato sauce and 1 1/2 dozen fresh eggs. Sure, you can stay in a motel and spend a lot more - getting nothing back in the process. Or you can, by luck and good grace, find a terrific place to overnight with peace, calm and quiet, get some unique and wonderful goods in return to truly enjoy - and support a hard working single owner providing people with gorgeous homemade products sure to be treasured for literally half of what you'd pay for that chain motel. We stayed in our motorhome as Harvest Host guests. We enjoyed walking around and observing the animals and peeking in the greenhouses. We purchased some of the delicious products they produce.
