My husband and I were excited to visit this small locally owned garden store. We didn’t realize they closed at 4pm when we pulled up at 3:54. As we walked to the open gate and saw several patrons inside, a young woman looked at us and quickly rushed over to lock the gate, turned and walked away without a word. Again we didn’t know it closed at 4 since there were cars parked out front and people inside and it was our first time visiting. A “simple sorry guys we’re closing” would have been an option, now we won’t be back. Too bad as it looked very cute and we ended up leaving there and heading to Pike after we identified a pollinator plant outside their gates.

This place feels magical/whimsical. The energy is soothing. I wanted to relax in one of the cottages and have some tea.

My son had a class project for planting lettuce but we were unable to obtain any from Home Depot or Lowe’s. We stumbled upon Garland’s Garden and his customer service is top tier. The owner himself is a great person who attended to the plants and he is very knowledgeable about the plant. He educated my son on how to care for the plant. Thanks for everything.
