I have been buying plants here for years for myself and my mother. I spend over $250 on 3 plants. Since last year I have noticed an decrease in the quality of the plants, but an increase to the prices, but I decided to give them another try. I bought a small hibiscus bush to plant in my large patio pot, just as I have been doing for many years. They strive in this full sun spot. All of the options they had were nearly flowerless, but I trusted that it would perk up after adding new soil and full sun. After about 2 weeks still no flowers and no sign of any new growth, a total dud. So I called hoping for a replacement or credit, but neither was offered. The lady on the phone just continued to tell me that I must be using poor soil or watering too often. I'm very disappointed they do not stand behind their plants, so I will not be buying flowers here in the future.

Incredible selection of hanging baskets. No need to visit anywhere else, once you've seen what they have! The price is good - for what you're getting. Hearty, beautiful flowers (many baskets with 6-7 varieties in them). The staff is very helpful - always ready to assist in finding items within the nursery and answer questions. Kaylee was very knowledgeable, and Alex (in the back greenhouses) assisted in finding exactly what I was looking for. EXCELLENT CHOICE, especially for hanging plants.

Last year, May 2025, I purchased 2 hydrangea plants for a total of $115.84. This May 2026 I called to tell them that both plants died. I was told there are no refunds. There are several other nurseries that offer warranties so because Johansen Farms does not offer any warranty I do not recommend them. This is unfortunate as they have a good variety of plants and decorative items and the employees are helpful.
