A good staple of the neighborhood. Staff is always pleasant & the shop kitties are always so cute. We’ve bought plants from them, planters, everything. They even do repotting services with a purchase which saves the headache of having to repot in an alley or in your apartment.
I frequently visit this nursery. Honestly, mainly because it’s close. They have a large variety of indoor and outdoor plants. A large quantity of pots too. The staff are helpful and I like the diverse quality of soils. However, they don’t have the healthiest and nicest looking plants around. For the ticket price, considering the health of the plants, they’re a bit overpriced, in my opinion (occasionally I have found good deals but mainly on small plants). I like that they have a rewards program and that’s partly why I keep coming back. But I haven’t stopped visiting other local nurseries and Ive seen stunning plants at lower prices at those places compared to Farmers Market. Recently, I purchased a Golden Birds Nest Snake Plant here. Just because it was on my wishlist. It didn’t look the healthiest though, (which surprised me because I actually visited the Home Depot that same day for inexpensive pots and even they had nicer plants), it actually seemed like a cat or dog had been biting it. Either way I bought the plant bc I was offered a $2 discount. A few weeks later, after repotting the plant with a well draining cactus soil, the plant is withering away. I’ll continue to visit for soil, pots and maybe some plants - a majority will come from another plant shop I discovered in downtown Chicago and loved for their healthy luscious plants at super reasonable prices (even lower) though. Ps- I don’t have any pets. The plant looked like this when purchased (without the rotting leaves. It was just drier).
Love this plant shop so convenient, great selection, and friendly service. I’ve purchased 5 plants from them and will continue to add more to my collection. ☺️🙏🏽

Awesome garden center. Absolutely blows Home Depot and other big boxes out of the water. Staff spent a ton of time helping me pick plants for a mock up I made of my back yard as well gave me tons of advice. Everyone here is fantastic and the quality and variety of plants are top notch. Even if you don’t live over here it’s worth the drive for the service and knowledge of the employees alone!
