I should have learned my lesson after my first bad experience. I purchased four bushes at a cost of $300. I had my landscaper picked them up and plant them. They all died. When I called the nursery, I was told that because my landscapers planted them I was out of luck and they had no warranty. I should have learned my lesson after that, but I did not I always wanted an American redbud tree and when I was doing some work in my yard I decided to treat myself to one at a cost of $1400 I had in still nursery planted so I had a warranty. It immediately died. I was told that I had a one time replacement and I should wait until spring. They planted the new tree and lo and behold. This one is dead too somehow this is my fault that I didn’t water properly with a slow trickle, etc. etc. etc.. I have purchased two other trees and two bushes from Home Depot with a total cost of maybe $150 and all three are alive and thriving with any type of assistance besides nature this place is the biggest rip off stay far away and save your money. It’s not worth it.

Perfect place to find perennial plants and PEOPLE with perennial mood disorders. Its actually quite comical. Who knew that gardeners and landscapers could be so petulant? Plants are so peaceful and beautiful but this lot seems to miss all the joy! And reading the other reviews, unfortunately this is not an atypical experience. Regarding landscape services, yes they charge for a consultation, and no they don't want to maintain your landscape unless you agree to first rip out your current landscape and put in their own design. They seem to do good work actually, for the uber-wealthy in Hinsdale, but unless you are willing to spend superfluously, they're too good for you. Oh, and dont forget the 3% credit card junk fee they add on when you get to the counter....
