Tim at Ace Hardware was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed and even offered some really helpful tips for my project. His knowledge and friendly attitude made my shopping experience so much better. I highly recommend seeing Tim for all your hardware needs!
So I made a purchase online (work gloves that were a size too small), using a coupon about to expire. The clerk said I'd have to return the gloves, lose the coupon and repurchase the larger size. I couldn't just exchange them for the identical gloves in the proper size or I could'nt repurchase and re-use the coupon. Poor customer service.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient location for me and well worth the occasional slightly higher prices relative to the big box stores.
Beware of the online inventory here. I drove to this store today because they show Earth Science Gypsum in stock. I was told it was not available and probably locked up in a storage container.
The guys working here and clueless and not helpful at all. Went to the store to get a mounting hook for my wardrobe and was on the ACE website and showed one of the guys that it’s in stock and at the store and he told me no we don’t have it and in fact it’s out of stock and won’t be stocked again. I asked if they have anything similar, but he said no and walked away. Went over to the next aisle and was able to find it by myself. Do better and hire people who know what they are doing !
