Rosie's Gardens and Hughes Landscape

I am a plant newbie, came here with 1 mission.. to find some indoor, pet-safe plants. Only saw one person after walking around for awhile. Was hoping for some signs or direction about indoor plants or pet friendly or something, but I didn't see much. The person checking out finally got a moment and then we waited for the guy to become available. After several minutes he came out and basically said no plant was really safe, but they might have some orchids. So I asked him to show me those... and he did and then left. I didn't really get a chance to ask any questions and honestly felt like my presence was a nuisance the whole time. I was hopeful for the helpful staff that some other people encountered, but it doesn't seem they were working today. Will try another nursery or just gamble online where at least the information is clear.

They have everything! Sales people were all knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly and all genuinely care about what they do and making sure you get the right plants for your garden. Make sure you have a lot of time and room in your car - you’ll end up buying more than you came for.

Terrible experience. I have bought lots of annuals from them. I bought a flat of impatiens from them last week and they all died within the week. The man on the phone said "you didn't water them". Yes, I did, daily. It was hot. They died. His reply? " If you are asking me to guarantee annuals in 90° heat, my answer would have to be no" Go to Sullivan's. I am so sorry I didn't. $70 wasted.
