About the Nursery

Seasonal Greenhouse and Nursery. Top products: spring flowers, vegetable plants, mums, hanging baskets. New Haven Puppies and Flowers is a family-owned agricultural operation located in New Haven, Indiana, with 36 years of experience at their current farm location. While the business primarily focuses on breeding and selling AKC-registered Bernese Mountain dog puppies, they maintain an active greenhouse operation specializing in seasonal horticulture. Their plant offerings are focused on spring, summer, and fall, featuring a selection of spring flowers, vegetable starts, and autumn-blooming chrysanthemums. The nursery also provides a variety of large hanging baskets and container-grown plants suitable for home gardens and seasonal landscaping needs. Operating as a destination farm, they cater to local homeowners seeking both horticultural products and companion animals. The greenhouse business typically operates from spring through autumn, and the operators advise customers to contact them by phone prior to visiting to confirm the current availability of specific plant varieties and nursery stock.

We got this happy boy from there last week, and he has been the light of our life:) The owners were very friendly. It seemed well run. They have about 1-2 litters a year, and their vet gave them good reviews. He said they have an Indiana Council that keeps many of the breeders in check with keeping up vaccinations/ etc. Our pup came with AKC registration papers, and an update of his Rabies shots and 5 way vaccinations. They are more of a backyard breeder, and they are great with communication. Our pup has adjusted fine, he’s a bit timid, but he’s gotten along well with his new collar and leash, and he’s starting to get the hang of potty training. Overall, we have been happy with our sale/adoption:) He is adjusting, like any pet has to.
