Very nice shop. Great pricing on plants. Outdoor decor was a little pricey.

Just the facts, ma'am. Bought a tree for 30% off in late fall last year - around $125. No buds in the spring and called in March about returning. Told it won't bud until late May and wait. It's June and no buds. Took pictures to nursery and 'she' said, no it's a goner. Since it's over 6 months we'll give you 50% of what you paid towards another tree (which is not 30% off). So, sell me a dead tree; tell me to wait over the six month waiting period for getting only 50% towards a new tree; and tell me I can then buy a new tree at full price less the 50% from discounted dead tree which is about the same price as first tree. Not sure if this is a scam but not paying more money for the possibility of getting another dead tree. Much less what type business practice is this?
Word of advice... Make sure you talk to someone there like the boss or the workers that do the landscape so what you want isn't misinterpreted or told incorrectly and you waste money on something you could have done yourself. Better yet insist on meeting in person at your property to show someone. This new way of doing business where someone drives by your house for an estimate and you never seeing or speaking to the people that actually do the work is ridiculous. From now on I'll just do it myself. Waste of money. To update to response: I barely spoke to him on the phone and that was because I asked if the quote included the butterfly bush and the girl on the phone had no idea. He hopped on and said he didn't know there was one (literally in front of our house) and that was it. I then had to tell the girl we wanted black mulch so the quote changed bc no one had even asked. Then we were told 2 weeks and it was going on the third week when I had to start calling asking where they were. When they came they also mulched our garden flower bed in the back which we did NOT tell them to do NOR did we want it mulched. We hadn't planted the flowers yet. We did this weekend and it was a mess. And guess what? They charged us for that mulch we never authorized! I wasn't going to file a complaint but I think I will now. We never authorized mulch in the backyard yet paid for it. We said front landscape. It is pretty obvious what landscape is. And they have the call before you dig people come even if there is no digging and some guy messed up our box we had to call about. They barely even put out mulch in the landscape and, again, they didn't fix the width which is what we wanted and the girl said on the phone it was "edging". Edging is what you do with your mower when you cut the grass. The owner did not talk to us about what we wanted EVER so don't lie. He hopped on ONLY to answer about the butterfly bush and the rest was the girl answering the phone. Oh and by the way when we reached out about the way it looked they said we can pay them more money to come back and fix it. And it would be another "2 weeks" which means 3 or more in real life I notice here. I actually remember we hired them one summer to plant a bush and they never came (same story... 2 weeks then 3 go by no word) and we canceled and got our money back. Jones Brothers always comes when they say. Also the "edging" wasn't even done correctly upon close inspection. They didn't even use the machine but instead a hand tool (which we own and could have done ourselves) and you can see grass popping through the mulch. I have it all on camera and you can see the little effort in doing it. Plus the barely there mulch. Did they even mulch behind the bushes? We will have to have the new person check. Almost $300 for literally something I could do myself and better.
I just stopped in to look at what they carried for future purchases. This garden center is really nice, I can only imagine what it looks like when trees are leaving out or flowering. It must be beautiful! They have a nice store for purchasing bird baths and feeders, planters, yard ornaments, dirt for pots. I will be going back multiple times, if for nothing else watching the ducks in the pond.
A very beautiful, quaint garden store that sells seeds, trees, fertilizer, mulch, topsoil and other gardening needs. They also keep such cute ducks! The lady inside was super helpful with all my questions. Can’t wait to return for my garden needs.
