I hate to write this post, but after many of years of buying all our plants and shrubs from here only to be treated the way we were yesterday from the son of the owner, I needed to speak up. Long story short, I purchased in late September 2024 alongside many other things, a blue cypress tree that we planted in front of our home. The once beautiful tree fell susceptible to the harsh winter months and was never able to respond back to life this spring. I figured they could meet me halfway and offer some sort of credit or discount off my next purchase there for another $300+ tree. Was I mistaken! Now, I understand the risk involved of a plant getting through our winter months, but I figured a mom/pop business like Every Bloomin that does very well in our community, would want to do right by their loyal customer base and find some sort of solution to this unfortunate circumstance. After speaking with the son of the owner, who was quick to dismiss me with a "sorry, it was past the 6 months and I can't guarantee anything through the winter time," I was quite angry and quickly ventured off to spend my money elsewhere. So, I went to an nearby nursery to browse their selection and asked them about their return policy, which they stated "1 year but if you purchase a certain compost/plant food it can guaranteed up to 3 years." So Every Bloomin' won't even allow for anything past 6 months, but a local/rival nursery nearby offers a guarantee policy up to a 1 year. Just seems like what once was a great place has gone to shit with how they treat some of their most loyal customers. Sad I even have to share this story, because their selection of plants/trees is top notch, but after the treatment I received yesterday from the son of the owner who cared more about what he was hosing down then taking care of a once loyal customer; I will take my money and business elsewhere and will be telling my friends and family to do so as well.
