Bay Ridge Nursery

I stopped in here for the first time yesterday. I had my two toddlers with me (always stressful) and they were very interested in the fish swimming in the koi pond. The owner noticed and immediately fed the fish so that the kids could see them come to the surface. It was such an unexpected kindness for her to notice and do that for them. I love houseplants so we went inside to look around. They have a beautiful selection of houseplants. I mean, look how gorgeous this monstera I bought is! The owner is so incredibly sweet and you can tell she loves her nursery and her customers. Excellent customer service. We will definitely be back!

I agree with another poster - Bay Ridge Nursery is a real gem in the neighborhood. They’ve always got beautiful, healthy plants with a solid variety to pick from, and they offer a rotation of new ideas every season. The staff is personable and genuinely helpful. It's not a job for them, it's their business. One of my 100% favorite things is that they also support local artisans—you’ll find unique cards, artwork, plant hangers, stuffed animals, and other little surprises. I just picked up a metal cable plant hanger and some handmade cards, both at way better prices and more unique than the big greedy chain stores. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stop in often, not just for the plants but for the whole vibe. Sometimes I just walk around 🕊️

This nursery is an absolute gem! A true mom and pop business. All of the plants are healthy and beautiful! The owners are super friendly, and very knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to make you feel invited, like family, and happy with a smile when you depart. I would highly suggest visiting, near or far. I have become a customer for life!

Excellent service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. George knows all about the hard scapes and Miriam is excellent with plants. I highly recommend!
