We purchased 3 pallets of bluestone from Genes with the large pieces showing at the top of the pallets. We spent over $1000. When the pallets were delivered and my husband started the project and opened up the pallets, what was inside the pallets was rubble, small, and some medium sized pieces. Pictures below. Not many large pieces - maybe 15 in all. When I called to speak to the owner he said he didn’t know anything about what was in the pallets. I saw the same thing he saw. My suggestion to him - let people know before purchasing. Put a sign up. We assume, as the owner of Genes, that he knows what he is selling to the buyer. Now we need to buy more bluestone, and I won’t buy from him. I’ll go buy from somewhere who deals in stone. I suggested he give us two pallets for free since most of our product was worthless and said - “I won’t do that”. Oh and lastly - one of the bigger pieces had already been cut around a 4x4 post.

We drove an hour to visit and it was well worth it. They have excellent quality plants and flowers and very helpful staff. I highly recommend. We got 36 seedlings for $40, that's unheard of.
