they are small and mighty. The selection of plants is astounding and of high quality. I have also found they are one of a few places in the area to consistently carry the type of shredded hardwood bark mulch that I like.

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. It’s not a secret I want hidden. I want them to stay in business and employee the wonderful employees they have! Better, more well nourished, healthier plants. Cheaper than anywhere else. Example: I went to merrifiedl garden center after work and was aghast at how more expensive everything was. Support local!!

This morning we experienced something at Hampton Nursery that we have never experienced before. While we appreciate help when it’s offered, we did not appreciate being followed around and watched while shopping by one of the male workers. Over the years, we have spent hundreds of dollars at Hampton Nursery and have always enjoyed doing business there. However, after we paid for our items and were walking to our car, we were approached (by the male) and asked if we had paid. We found this very offensive and embarrassing. To make matters worse, the lady who rang us up came outside with a very unprofessional customer service attitude. Mr. Frank has always been pleasant to do business with, but we will NOT continue to patronize any business where customers are treated this way. We wanted to make you aware of this experience because it was extremely disappointing.
