Absolutely embarrassment. I was the only one there an hour after opening and every plant was dead and dry as the desert. Trees on the ground with dirt spilling out and 2 employees just talking. No greeting, no watering, nothing. I went to Lowes instead and found many unsprayed natives...and would you believe it, they were watering the plants!

Well done. Well done. Well done. Well DONE 👏🏾 I was able to find soooo many affordable veggies, herbs, ornamentals, and flowers that would have severely broken our pockets at the big box stores like Home Depot. I found pretty much everything I needed. I can’t believe the prices on everything. I couldn’t believe the price on the hostas - well, everything. Now, I will say, if you are going to visit during their promotions like we did with Veggie Fest then you HAVE to go the first day. I came back on the last day and it was a drastic difference. So many plants got sold. Which is great but plan carefully. They have trees, native grasses and flowers, shrubs, annuals, perennials, ground-covers…you name it. I’m thoroughly impressed. We left with over 50 plant starters and only spent less than $205. Update - so I guess not every event is a hardcore budget saver. I guess they were able to do that with the veggie and herb fest because those a small starter plants. We got many for $2.99 but the perennials started at $10.99. I wish there were smaller sized pots of the same plants so people could stretch their dollar farther. Still worth a trip though. I guess it doesn’t hurt to keep going so you know which events work best for your budgets.

Maybe I went in the wrong day, but the selection was slim. I got a nice size palm tree, that's dying and a bird of paradise that's blossoming.
