My husband and I went here recently for some inspiration, plants, and nursery pots. The gentleman that assisted us was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He walked me through all of his inventory and inspired me to start moving on projects that have been put off for far too long. They also do landscaping projects and his water feature near the check out was gorgeous. I will 100% be going back during all planting seasons going forward.
I do not recommend. Found him insulting at times blaming me for two plants he sold me that died, saying I did not water sufficiently. I spent $2,000 for landscaping with him and I regret it. I should have done more research instead of hiring him but he was close by my home. It was a poor choice.
Merritt’s nursery is truly a zen garden!! A wonderful place to visit and pick up some beautiful plants. Merritt is a knowledgeable and kind person which adds plenty to the experience. A+ nursery!
This is a very unique plant and landscape provider! The personal attention and sellers knowledge is broad in the area of different plants. Especially Hostas. Merrit provides a lot of insight to the plants he sells! If you’re in the area of Cooley Lake and Hiller Rd. Watch for Merrit’s Welcome sign on the NE side of Cooley LK Rd. He is Open Saturday & Sundays.
