Huge place! Reminded me of Minnesota State Fair but not nearly that big. They have everything you could need for lawn and garden. Prices seem reasonable and service was good and helpful.

Yea! Go here. Best nursery in the twin cities. Variety is as good as any online nursery, perfectly suited to our climate, and plants are super healthy and vigorous. If you see what they have here you will regret ever trying to save a couple of dollars at a big box store or online store. Your results will be way better here and cheaper on the long run. For example, the 5 shade plants I bought online cost me $60 including shipping, and arrived as tiny dry bare roots. I'll be lucky if 3survive. Gertens had the same or better varieties for an average price of $14 each and are super healthy potted specimens ready to go. All will survive.

I came to Gertens in search for marginal pond plants and Gertens didn't disappoint! I found some really good looking pickerel rush, aswell as some water lettuce. They had lots of other varieties such as water iris, water lilies, etc. And I even found some cute monstera pillows! Overall, amazing visit.
