Great service, friendly staff and decent prices!

I've never seen a black flower in my life! They have black petunias, I bought two. I was there for chicks when I bought the flowers. Six baby chicks came home with me. My broody hen will be happy when she gets these babies tonight. Honestly, they are quite spendy, the chicks, the store in general but worth it for getting what I wanted and I drove an hour to get there.

Family-owned, locally-owned, small business. What's not to like? It's always good to support the likes instead of big operations whose nerve center and profit center are elsewhere. Tom the owner and some of his family members working there are always helpful. Pricing is competitive. We've been shopping there for decades! The new road in front of it makes it easier and safer to get in and out while previously it faced high-speed highway traffic. Go there and fall in love with the place.

Awesome service. Was able to get same day delivery of a couple yards of garden soil, fair pricing, and phone call prior to delivery. Stellar!

I’m torn on the rating because everyone of The staff was super attentive and awesome and when it comes to chickens stuff happens but after hearing other folks had issues this year I thought I’d leave a review. We purchased 10 different breeds looking to Have a variety of feathers and eggs. Unfortunately our salmon faverolle didn’t make it, we drove back to retrieve a replacement and that one didn’t make it over night so we drove again for a replacement. The staff mentioned other people were having issues with that breed so we chose something else but after having the chickens for 6-8 weeks we noticed we didn’t get a couple of the breeds we picked out, they did call to mention they received my email and someone would call I never received a call back which was fine I know there’s not much they can do. Then another odd thing has happened two of our chickens had a bum leg and ended up dying shortly after - I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this after a couple of months - I’m sure it was a freak thing but out of all Of our years of chicken owning we’ve never experienced that. ARFG has a great options for breeds and it’s cool that they have quick turn over of chicks and that they are always stocked.
