Are you talking about Portulacas? If so, they start well from seed (miniscule but mighty) with just a bit of patience.
Or, I get them from one of a few local plant shops in my area (rural Maine). I have not seen them offered from mailorder plant companies personally.
Also, if you do start from seed, I would estimate a 4-6 week headstart before transplanting to the garden or outdoor container. Once you grow them successfully, they will reseed and you'll see lots of tiny little portulacas popping up the next growing season all on their own. Mine have come back again this year. Hopefully you find this helpful.

When is the best time to divide heuchera?

It is recommended to divide & replant heuchera every 3 to 5 years in the spring time so the divisions have plenty of time to develop a good root system before the next winter season sets in.

I am moving from TN to NE in March of 2022. I plan to take my hosta and peonies with me. What is the best method to remove the flowers and replant the hosta and peonies when I reach NE. NE is one month behind TN 's growing period.

We recommend digging them and storing them in a dry, cool location until you're able to plant them. A refrigerator is the best location. It would also be helpful to keep them in a bag so that they do not dry out. Prior to planting, please soak the roots of the hosta for about 4-6 hours to rehydrate them. It is not necessary to do this with the peonies. Thanks!

If you have plants I was going to drive down to see them. Do you have any climbing vines for a trellis

We sell peonies by the bareroot. We do grow them in our fields, but we do not offer tours. You are welcome to drive by and see them, but we would recommend calling before doing so to make sure they're in bloom. We do not have any climbing vines for a trellis. Thanks!
