Schmittel's Nursery

Nursery wise, great place. Steer very clear of their landscaping division however. After having our bid appointment rescheduled twice (once was necessary due to weather, the other was ridiculous), our contractor showed up late, did zero measurements on the work, looked around and said he'd get back to us. After almost two weeks had passed we called them to see what was up. Was told they'd put a note on his desk encouraging him to provide the quote. Finally got it a week later after we sent another email asking for it. The bid was twice as much, 5k more, than the other bid we got afterwards . Terrible service, terrible pricing. Do not recommend.

Huge place. Easy to pass 1 hour walk just looking at variety of plants. Must ask for help to speed up location of plant you are looking for. Very knowledgeable ,helpful staff. Price level is high because they carry mostly 3,5,10 Gallons and up potted plants.

I went there to purchase outdoor flowers. Not a person in sight nor could a person be found to help.

This is the second year we went on Mother's Day. There were a lot fewer flowers to pick from this year so will have to go a little earlier next year.
