Wonderful surprise. Nice people and an incredible story that goes with largest Bonsai nursery in the world.

I have ordered several bonsai from them. Quality is always excellent and I receive my order within 3 to 4 days. They are shipped nicely packaged as to not stress them; never any damage to them.

So I sent Brussels Bonsai an email regarding my experience I had with buying one of there Bonsai. So I bought a total of three trees from them and they both ended up DEAD. First off, I bought the Chinese sweet plum. When I received it, I never seen such a root bound bonsai ever, it felt like a BRICK. Along that with the shipping stress, the tree was basically about to kick the rocks. Eventually it did! And I have a pretty good inside set up, I have fans, I use a akadama mix, grow lights, humidifier and it still died on me. So I sent them a email just letting them know what happened, and trying to give them constructive criticism, and they ignored my email. I also bought a juniper from there website, and I didn’t repot it or anything, I just left it outside. And eventually that died as well! The only one that her survived was the golden gate fiscus, it was pretty healthy and was not root bound. So because of the experience I went through, I started looking for a different place I could buy bonsai from. And that’s when I found, “Wigerts Bonsai”, I have bought over 8 bonsai’s from them and not one ever had an issue! And they charge a fair price unlike Brussels which way over charges. BECAREFUL!

FedEx left my Dawn Redwood Grove on a public sidewalk and the package walked off. FedEx refused to take accountability, but the Brussel’s Bonsai Office Manager, Lisa, took care of me. She wasted no time and resent my package. I will be a repeat customer, not only because BB has great products, but also because I know I can trust the team. Amazing place! Loved looking at all the bonsai trees, I’ll be back soon to get a starter tree! I love that they sell bonsai tools and pots as well. Update: 5/13/26 I have bought two trees from Brussel’s and they are beautiful. One is a dwarf jade the other a precumbens juniper (mounding variety). They have both been acclimated and have sense exploded with growth. Lisa is great, she always takes care of me at the store with amazing customer service. Shout out to Nina the lab for always barking at me for some head pats, she’s adorable. I’ll continue to be a happy customer of Brussel’s Bonsai Nursery!
