About the Nursery

Christmas Tree and Greenery Farm. Top products: Fraser Fir Christmas Trees, Handcrafted Wreaths, Christmas Garland, Table Top Trees, Candle Centerpieces. Appalachian Evergreens, established in 1933, is a family-owned farm operation based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Specializing in the cultivation and harvest of Fraser Fir Christmas trees, the business operates as both a retail destination for 'choose and cut' Christmas tree experiences and a wholesale/mail-order supplier of holiday greenery. Their core horticultural output includes fresh-cut trees, handmade wreaths, fireplace mantle garlands, and various decorative evergreen arrangements. The company emphasizes traditional craftsmanship, utilizing fresh-cut evergreens harvested directly from their mountain farms. They serve a broad customer base, ranging from local retail visitors at their farm to national mail-order customers and wholesale clients. Their mission centers on providing authentic, high-quality mountain-grown greenery while maintaining the family legacy established by Charles Cole Wilcox over nine decades ago.

Went to pick out our Christmas tree. Everyone was super friendly and the trees were exceptional. So many great shaped healthy trees that it was hard to choose! Couldn’t have been happier with the quality.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Most beautiful Christmas wreaths ! Been getting these for several years now, and could not be more pleased. Box is carefully packaged with red tissue paper and large lovely red bow to attach. I live in Florida, so I continually mist the wreath with spray bottle of water, and it's always fresh and green well into January.
