We have been coming here for many years when we are in town. We always take something home so we can remember our vacation.

TLDR: very rude to customers and nasty to own employees. I called to see if they had a specific tree in their inventory and the woman on the phone said she had one but would call me back the next day when she found out the color and size. 2 days later I had never received a call but I didn’t want to be a nuisance calling multiple times so I decided the size and color would be fine and to just drive the rather long distance to the store. When I got there an employee used a walkie to ask the same woman where it would be. I heard over the walkie as she responded with a nasty attitude lying that I had just called the day before and she didn’t have time to look for it but thinks she sold it. The employee was very kind and looked embarrassed that I had heard her bosses response. Not sure if they ever had one but turns out they did not now. My back up plan was to ask what other tree they recommended but after that interaction, it had no interest in doing business with this garden center. Such a shame because I’d always wanted to stop in on the way to the beach. Better off at Pinecone even if it’s a bit smaller. They are kind and helpful.

You will need at least an hour to shop here. Maybe 2. Fantastic staff, knowledgeable and super helpful. Great variety and lots of interesting items inside too (it's not just the plants). Make sure you take a few extra minutes for the shop - seriously! We will be back, but have to care for the 20+ plants and trees. We couldn't believe the great prices.

This is by far the worst experience I've had with any company. During a gravel delivery J and S landscaping hit my gutter while they were backing into the slab with the bucket on the dump truck up. They then refused to fix the damage they did to my house. To start from the beginning, we received terrible customer service from the front desk person. Autumn? was incredibly rude from the moment we asked if we were in the right building to purchase rock. After realizing our gutter was hit, she immediately said that J and S would not be able to fix it because we cant prove it. She then said she couldn't even find a record of our purchase. I sent screenshots of the incident recorded on our RING CAMERA. Then suddenly our purchase was located. They sent people out to look at the gutter damage. On camera they said "he probably hit it with his dam boat" and refused to correct the damage. They said 1. The gutter was hit inward not outward so it couldnt have been the driver. 2. We waited to long to report the damage (2 weeks). 1. The ring camera, while not showing the moment of impact, does show that the bucket was already up as the driver was backing in, meaning that he did hit it inward. The driver also looks up at the damage he just did. Also the wheel well on the boat makes it impossible for the T top to make contact with the gutter. 2. We were on vacation during and after the incident. Its not reasonable to think that we should have to cancel our vacation because we cant trust a comany to drop off gravel. After i was told they would not be repairing the damage they caused, I wanted to speak with anyone else at the company. I repeatedly called to speak with someone else about matter and was told four times that Jim was going to call me. For 2 weeks it was pretty apparent that nobody intented to speak with me about it. They said they had a gutter guy and could fix the damage. It would be zero financial burden to their company to correct their mistake. Its greedy, poor business practices like this that customers should actively avoid. The idea that a customer needs video proof of not only the parameters that clearly show their fault, but the exact moment of the damage is a ridiculous way for a business to behave. The other negative reviews of this company tell a similar story of not standing by their work. Im sure they will comment some short, cute half truth on this review, but im with 100% certainly telling you they hit my house with a dump truck.... I can obviously say I will not be returning to J and S landscaping and will be sharing my story with as many people as possible so they do not receive the same treatment.

This is a large greenhouse and gift shop with a great selection of items. Dont miss a chance to stop if you pass by!
