went there looking for french tarragon. One AMERICAN worker was more interested in where I was parked. I said do you have French tarragon. He said I have a truck coming. SO??? Do you have it??? He asked another worker she waved her arm in the direction of herbs. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for customer service

So someone told me to go here so i stopped before my ideal places I know well. I live close so I gave it a crack vs driving to Maple Leaf Nursury in Freehold area or PA or even using FB for delivery , where I get great deals. The store is nice but on a hill if you want larger trees etc. They had some really nice stuff and great if you need a few things as they have it there. I have a very large property and had some winter damage so decided to overhaul and move some items and add. I priced simple everyday trees and bushes, green emeralds, 28-30in boxwoods which are mature, and others. Folks, do yourself a favor, take a drive and look around the prices at this place are not just high but super high. You can save a ton going to Maple Leaf or there are guys that buy from wholesalers who will be much cheaper as well and plant them (not well) especially on privacy trees. PD wanted >200k for a 28inch boxwood that I got for 70 bucks. I bought and need 15 of them ! I priced a Stowe Pillar white pine ~7-8ft bc they had nice size avail and don't see often, it was outrageous > 500-600 bucks and you can buy just about anywhere for $250 bucks. That's when I stopped looking. I don't wish this store bad as it was only my time wasted and shut it down fast. I got good workout walking the hilly muddy property and my store clerk was super friendly but beware if you like keeping some of money you make. I would give a 3 star bc they didn't do anything wrong until I asked a question that fell on deaf ears on way out... so i spent my 2k at MapleLeaf and would have been 5k here.

Five stars isn’t enough for Gabby at Plant Detectives. I stopped in on a Friday evening, practically at closing time, desperately needing a gift, and Gabby didn’t miss a beat. She took the time to ask about the person I was gifting the plant to and helped me choose the perfect one, then guided me to just the right pot to go with it. She didn’t stop there — she potted it for me on the spot, pre-fed it, and sent me off with watering instructions to pass along to the recipient. This was ten minutes before closing after what I’m sure was a long week, but you’d never have known it. Gabby brought genuine warmth, real plant knowledge, and true care and positivity to every moment of that interaction. If this is the kind of team you have, I’ll be back — and I’ll be sending everyone I know. Thank you, Gabby! 🌿

Was on the lookout for an unusual plant, and after calling many different nurseries it was Plant Detectives that had a selection! But of a ride one afternoon but boy was it worth it. We couldn’t be happier with their selection, variety, but most of all they are champions of customer service. Everyone was friendly with a smile, reminding me of my past experiences working in a similar nursery. You can’t go wrong visiting this plant experience.
