We own a landscape design company in Bergen County and we have been shopping here for many years. Lennie and Lorna are knowledgeable plant people and Mike and Donna are always helpful too. Although it's not the closest nursery to us we never hesitate to make the trip because we know we will find the varieties, quality and price that we are looking for.

I truly enjoy shopping at Riverside. The nursery is very organized and the entire staff is very knowledgeable. Looking around at this huge nursery there is incredible amount of annuals, perennials and trees/shrubs. I will absolutely be back later in the season.

They were very helpful and even loaded my pick-up truck. A big variety of trees and plants. But bring your credit card for sure.

Today's date is Sat 7/6/24. My wife went to this nursery today looking for a low growing/spreading juniper plant. She walked into the office and went to the front desk area and two women were at the counter talking to a customer. She waited patiently but neither of them payed attention to her and she had to interrupt them to get help and asked if they could help her find a juniper plant. One woman replied... yes we do, go beyond the white fence and that's where you'll find them. I would expect that one of them would physically take her there... not everyone knows what a juniper looks like but she went to find the plants. She found the plants but she had questions regarding the plant and the plant was wet and heavy and she needed help. She literally saw five employees with Riverside Nursery shirts on and asked if someone could help her and carry the plant to the counter and possibly to her car, the employee said, no we can't help you... we're to busy but there are carts out front that you could put the plant on to bring to the counter yourself. I'm looking forward to hearing the reply from management on how this could happen after asking multiple people for help and being ignored and not helped. My wife then said thanks for your help but I'll be leaving to the employee. I have been in the retail floral business for over 40 years, worked for a landscaping company and was a superintendent on a golf course and never heard of such lack of customer service in a retail business. I generally never like to comment badly about a business but i couldn't help myself. Please don't shop at this nursery.
