BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS NURSERY DOES NOT OFFER A WARRANTY - EVERY OTHER NURSERY DOES---Steve sold us a 10ft Norway Spruce tree with install for $500. After his helpers put the tree in the ground we noticed many branches were falling off. We noticed branches were split along the trunk in sections from top to bottom. We quickly became aware that Steve's method of transporting the tree to the property for delivery, netting and the methods Steve's workers used (while smoking cigarettes) to get the heavy tree in the ground (rolling downhill) had caused the branches to split. With half a tree left we contacted Steve to ask if he could honor a guarantee for the health of the tree (as most local nurseries do for up to a year) but Steve let me know HIS NURSERY DOES NOT OFFER A WARRANTY AT ALL. He was nice as can be when he sold us the tree and made the sale but was dismissive, condescending and ghosted when we asked for him to do the right thing. We love to help support local business but we will not be shopping here again and we will be spreading the word. Trees and shrubs are expensive, why shop here when you can get a guarantee on your purchase and better customer service elsewhere. Trust the other bad reviews!

Purchased a dogwood tree last summer, paid Stone Hedge to plant our new tree. Noticed this spring the tree appeared dead, no leaves, no blossoms and dead branches. Other dogwood trees in the area were in full blossom and leaves were sprouting I called Kelley about two weeks ago, to look at the tree. She arrived to look at my tree in a couple of days. Her evaluation, 'the tree is fine, just water it! A late frost caused all of the flowers [ no flowers present for the non existent late frost to kill] to die, even before the tree blossomed. Extremely dry winter winds caused the dead branches. Really no explanation for why the tree had no leaves until about three weeks ago. She did offer to cut out the dead branches. Refused to replace my tree, said it was "fine".So, if you buy a tree from this nursery and the next year you are told your tree "fine" , with very few leaves, never a blossom, an several dead branches.... her words "BE PATIENT"! The photo is of my "fine" tree a few days ago.
